Hello, I've been enjoying ChaosBot but I've been wondering if it's supposed to take about a minute to load up.

Also, after doing a tts it tends to halt the whole app, stopping the text overlay in the process, then decides to play the tts again. The skip button tends to not work aswell. (shown in youtube video). I wonder if there are anyways of fixing this or am I doing something dumb?

  • The process is in C:drive
  • I have a pretty beefy desktop
  • I have run the process with and without administrator mode
Any answer will be great, thank you for your time.

Another question: Why does the twitch points not show up on the list but still work?

Thank you for pointing that out, 95% of my users are only on YouTube and this slipped by testing, a fix for this and the other issues you mentioned should be out this weekend or next.

I just tested this, it seems to be a bug when using the standard tts, I was able to fix it rather quickly and that will be updated when the new version of chaos comes out this weekend. The skip button not working was part of that bug. As to your next question about twitch points not showing up I'm still investigating that.
-Edit, yes it does generally take about 30ish seconds to load part of that is depending on the web connections its making.

I just uploaded V1.3beta, this should solve your issues, please let me know if the problem is still occuring to save your setting you can copy all the files in the fold (chatconfig, vtube studio config, etc) and put them in the new folder and it should save everything.

Yes, thank you for taking the time for this! Sorry, it took me a while to respond; I wasn't streaming, so I couldn't test it out.

Twitch chat points mostly work; now when people chat on Twitch, it now adds their points. However, it seems that chat system is completely broken on Twitch.

  • points do not get deducted when using TTS or sound effects (all set to 25 points).
  • point system ignores the cost and just plays it.

For example, if I set TTS to 200 points and someone with 10 points types !tts, it will play their message ignoring the cost. I don't know if this is only an issue on my end.

^^ This is only a Twitch issue; YouTube works extremely well.

Also, the TTS system doesn't repeat any long messages for me anymore. However, the ChaosBot app still pauses whenever there is a TTS, and I can't skip the message. This happens to me on both YouTube and Twitch. I will probably try using Azure next time, since as you said, "it seems to be a bug when using the standard TTS."

I will update you on if it works with Azure later.

I have found the bug that makes it broken on twitch, will take me a little bit to fix. As for the TTS bug still looking into that.
